I'm having trouble drinking all the water I should, are you allowed to use flavours to make it taste better as long as it is low carb? I read somewhere that for example, drinking diet coke wasn't as good as just drinking pure water, but, I mean if it has water in, you're getting water, right?
Anyone have any good ideas to spice up water a bit, because it's getting troublesome to drink all that water. |

Sorry Viking - once it's "spiced up", it's no longer water...
Anything you add to water will change its chemical properties - it will become acidic or alcalic, it will have all sorts of chemically active stuff in it.
All that, instead of flushing your kidneys clean as water is supposed to, will burden them further, and kidneys are a very hard working organ while on Atkins!
Before you tell me "it's just a tiny bit of flavoring, but it's essentially water", consider whether you would drop just a tiny bit of cyanide into your bottle and still consider it "essentially water"... |

aw dk it is a shame isn't it???
but grab yourself a big water bottle, and fill it a couple times a day...carrying it around with you helps a lot! i drink 3x 750ml bottles a day - one at breakfast/morning; one at lunch/early afternoon, and one later in the afternoon. it gets easier, i hope you're doing okay with it?
