I read in another post on here somewhere that a guy's wife lost a pound a day (!) while swimming for an hour a day at the lake and while on Atkins. So yes! swimming is a great exercise to do on any diet! |

Hi,
Any physical activity is a good start, even just a little walking. Swimming is great exercise as it is easy on your joints. |

Pulling your body through a dense substance like water is EXCELLENT! It also uses most of your muscles. |

Swimming is frequently touted as one of the most excellent forms of exercise for weight loss. Swimming is also accepted with people who are extremely overweight, pregnant, or suffering from some kind of injury. |
