Hello
The skin on the chicken can stay on, no problem. From what I understand allskin and fat can be eaten and is good.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for that, I just wasn't sure.
the book says you can leave the skin on meat, fish, and fowl. so if you like the chicken skin leave it on. i love me some crisp grilled chiken skin. it's been so nice here, i grilled chicken the last 3 nights. i used the KC masterpiece low carb sauce on some wings and thighs. very, very good. i count each piece as 2 carbs since the sauce has 2 grams per 2 Tbs. there is probably less then 2Tbs on each piece, but better safe than sorry.
oops I asked a similar question just before. Is there an 'F' missing from the " i used the KC masterpiece" post in the thread above?![]()
I guess one tablespoon is OK? Maybe the sauce is so rich you only need to use a bit? I don't know. I don't use it
Anyway chicken skin...mmm...pork skin...even lamb skin if crispy. Get it down you, mandvb, the fat content helps to make you feel full and the crispiness substitutes nicely for crisps and the like. Don't worry about calories if you have the carbs under control.
