    Loose skin?

I'm still loosing weight on my c4shm0ney (R) eating program and I've developed what I would call some flabby skin around my stomach and other areas I'm curious to know if I should expect that to tighten up and if so how fast?

I haven't really noticed it until just recently and it isn't that bad as of yet. But I do recall hearing that when people loose a lot of weight sometimes the skin does return to healthy shape. I suspect there are some calculations wrapped around how likely you are to be left with flabby skin. I''ve lost around 45lbs in about 4 months. Any ideas??

It comes down to how often the body replaces the skin...

Based on this article I found, I'd say that with wegiht loss, the skin will thiken and the underlying replacement of skin will slow down. Using a lafa or other course rub to help remove old skin should help, but in the end it is going to take awhile (undefined time) for the skin to shrink back down...

Article does not relly help in identifiying how often the skin turns over... but perhaps a persistant web searcher can turn up that...

I believe it takes a total of 18 months for your skin to totally recover. So that means, 18 months after you have finished losing weight, your skin should be about where it is. In the meantime, exercise and toning will help as well as keeping yourself well lubricated with water.

I have also heard some folks swear by firming lotions like Nivea and Suave. I personally like Cellusculpt from Avon.
