How cold is it where you live ?

This cold weather is tough on walkers and runners. My bicycle gets put away for the winter, so I don't even try.

Today, in NJ, it was 2 degrees F (-16C). Brr!! I think it's up to about 7 now, but the wind-chill is below 0.

It's been staying around the 40's and 50's.. but an hour drive in any direction will take it down to the 30's, easily.. and then we are in the snow. I took mom and granny up to Shaver lake on Thursday to see the snow,, and when we picked them up in LA, there was enough snow in the grapevine for them to close it and have CHP escort.. Today we are driving back down to LA to stay the night and be tourists and I'm sure we will have snow in the grapevine again.. but right here, it's not bad at all.

oh. I love Shaver lake! My entire family spends a couple weeks every year at a cabin up there enjoying the snow!

    Have fun in LA!

It is cold here, for us. It is 57 degrees today for the high. You must imgaine though that we are used to temps between 95 and 100 degrees or more. Day and night. My hubby and I were talking today about how when we lived in NC, that when I got to be in the 60's we would try to sneak out of the house in shorts. Now we are freezing our butts off and drinking hot chocolate(made with splenda, of course).

It's a balmy 20 F here today and we are happy to have it! Maybe 31 tommorow!

I don't miss the - numbers we had last week in the least. All of you on the east coast (US) are welcome to keep the bitter cold for the rest of the year!

It was high of 62 here today.

Worked on a project in the driveway in the bright sun in shorts and T-shirt. Not a cloud in the sky. Felt great. 8)

well it has been pretty cold for here, in the high 30's, low 40's at night, but it was almost 70 right around Christmas. funny how it feels "so cold" cause I used to live in the D.C. area and I could handle the cold, I guess it is all in what your body gets used to

    Sari-
It really hasn't snowed here in NJ since early December when we got almost 2 feet (all melted 2 days later) then got hit again the following weekend with about 1 foot.

We were talking to the neighbors we have in upstate NY who watches our place up there and they were telling us they have had about 44 feet total so far this season. Last years total I believe was 106 feet total.
