Good Morning! And Happy Friday, well, it's my Friday. Tomorrow I get to take Thing 1 for his driving test. I hope he passes just so he can drive himself but old mother hen doesn't want to cut the cord LOL I just hope he's been studying like we keep telling him.

No plans for this weekend except clean the house, I have so much crap to send to the Salvation Army, mostly clothes. Thing 1 I know will go deer hunting, not sure about the old man.

Best of luck to Thing 1 on his driving test. feel free to be a mother hen as regards cars. if I had 1 slip of latinum for every REPORTED motor vehicle episode in the five boroughs, I would be a multi-millionaire. I had a surprise visit from bldg. mgmt. this afternoon. i passed, thank the gods. next visit will be 11/15/18. the same guy. my hands are still shaking. so far today, I had 1 portion of broiled salmon, and 1 portion of the roasted LILLIPEUTIAN chicken. if I get hungry I shall consume some or all of the HAPPY FAMILY (steamed), which will be my only carbs of the day. they will come once a month on the 15th through Aug of 2019. but yesterday's visit was quite a surprise. as for food, I finished off the day with the HAPPY FAMILY. that was at between 8 pm & 9 pm. I nuked it and added some minced garlic, Mrs. Dash, and a pckt of hot mustard. shortly after midnight, I ate a turkey sandwich on 2 slices of lc carb rye toast, with a pkt of REAL mayo. boy, was that good! total net carbs for the day was 7. It's official, he's legal, and I've already sent him to the store! This is gonna be nice even though it will give me more gray hair.

I talked to Marilee yesterday and she is doing ok. We didn't talk about weight or anything along those lines and I forgot to mention anything about this group. Sorry.

Tony, I get the flu shot only because it is required for my work, otherwise I wouldn't. I am hoping that by eating healthy, I get my immunity through my foods.

I have sadly gotten back into grazing and need to knock it off. Regardless of what I am eating and it is plant based, I can still graze which takes me off track. I need to pull in the reigns.

i am still amazed how exponentially my appetite has increased within the last few days alone. I am still apprehensive, if not of one thing, then another. today, there were no veggies in the house, and I did not want to order in anything. so, I had a large order of ribs from the day before. about 4-5 hours later, I was ready to eat the mattress and pillows. so, I toasted FOUR slices of the lc bread, and divided my 4-6 oz of rb into 2 sandwiches. that fiber is miraculous-28 grams of it. right now I am nursing a razzberry flavored herbal tea in my largest mug. I am still full from the fiber. at this time of the year, I DO get evil food thoughts much more than in the warm weather. I must be ever so cautious and focused not to put those thoughts into actions. that was the raison d'etre of all that fiber. today's carb total was as y'all may have guessed, was 4 net grams. I put my socks on this morning for the 1st time since April of 2018. I guess that means it is getting cooler, out there, and in here. I am drinking more herbal tea lately, and less coffee. not for health reasons. it is just that I am enjoying herbal tea more. I expect to lose a considerable amount of weight this morning. I am having my beard removed !!! . talk to y'all when I get back. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

FF, I am so glad you can stay in your apartment. I bet that man showing up to inspect did give you a fright.

It's been quite a week. DH is feeling better. They continue to monitor his electolytes. Don't think it has anything to do with diet. He has been eating pretty healthy, some protein and lots of vegetables vitamins. When he had pneumonia last Dec. his calcium was extremely low then and he was not dieting.

We were supposed to close on mother in laws house yesterday, the one I spent the last 3 months cleaning out but there are problems with DH's brother's will that the lawyer is trying to work out. Hope the sale does not fall through. We personally have paid out close to $3000.00 of our own money for house insurance and property taxes etc.

Also had to work overtime last night for the first time since last winter. ugh We have a huge order for November so I'm sure there will be more Friday night overtimes coming up.

Chris, funny story about your hubby working on the truck.

Tony, know you will miss those little kids being around all the time.

Vicki, grazing is my downfall too.

diet, or no diet, i know of nobody on earth, or Ferenghinar, or other worlds, where people (if there is food available) do not graze. i go to my computer, and listen to music on u-tube or research stuff on wik-ipedia. that keeps me away from food ALMOST all the time. hey, nobody's perfect! but, if/when I DO graze I keep it low/no carb. well, the opera is over. However, I cannot leave the house, cuz I am awaiting my laundry to be returned. fortunately the barber opens very early every day. from there, I am off to SHOPRITE. glad DH has improved, Abi. so far today, I had a pint container of chicken soup with chicken in it, AND a western omelet with 1 slice of melted mozzarella. assuming it was a 3 egg omelet (most diners use 3 eggs), we are counting 3 grams of carbs, so far. tonight will be the other container of soup, plus whatever critter I am in the mood for. keep y'all posted. in addition to the 2nd container of soup, i consumed an order of sliced roast pork, sauceless. i just added some mustard. if y'all think that was enough for me, it was not. a little later I will have a ham, cheddar and tomato SANDWICH on 2 lc slices of toast. if that satisfies me, then the total carbs du jour will total 6. G'morning all! The wind knocked the power out yesterday, maybe 2 hours, flickered like it was coming back on, then out for a few more.

I lost a few pounds this week, 4 or 5, not exactly sure, I'll take it.

Going to make Linda Sue's spinach lasagna today and have it all week at work. Well, until I smell it and have to have some today. Oh wait, I forgot to buy the spinach for it LOL!! I guess I'll make Thing 1 run to town for it.

    Have a Happy Sunday!
    Chris
