Hi everyone - I'm still here, but struggling a bit. I can't seem to get the scale to move. I am sure the reason is that I am not 100% and must be eating carbs that I am not even aware of. Basically my meals consist of eggs and / or bacon for breakfast (usually some veggies and cheese with eggs for yummy omelete), salad with protein and avocado for lunch, atkins bar for afternoon snack, and protein / veggies for dinner. I am also drinking a glass of wine every few days. The wine may be undoing my hard work. Sigh.... I really just want the scale to move and to see some progress. Although for the most part I really like eating this way. I'm also trying to run/walk for 30 minutes every other day, and I am spending a bunch of time in the pool with my children. Not necessarily laps, just playing games, etc... So definitely getting some exercise and activity every day.

Hope everyone else is doing well and enjoying the start of summer.

    Current weight ~ 132

The Atkins bars could possibly be the cause of your "stall."" Maybe the wine as well.

However, you don't have much left to lose and you are getting exercise.

    Enjoy your day.

And I notice your weight is 132lbs - what is your height and goal weight? Unless you are very short you can't have a huge percentage of lbs to be lost The less you have to lose the harder it is to shift. Try a few very low carb days - meat only if you can stand it - and see if it makes a difference

    Hi Mommy

Try "Odilles" Cron o Meter. Don't have the link for you but if you google it you will find it and Odille ( Analog ) is an expert if you have any problems. It's a great carb, calorie and nutritional calculator.

Stay clear of the Atkins bars for the moment and if your like me, drinking the odd glass of wine usually means at least a glass every night and I know when I stopped for 3 weeks, I lost 11 lbs so ya.......wine is a definite hinderance Sorry, I know it sucks LOL
