    Welcome Tebori,

You have made a good choice in joining us here and I am sure you will soon see how much support you will get. Some of us are serious experts that can answer any questions you have and others, like me are more like the welcome wagon LOL but the fact is, we are all in this struggle together and together we will win!

Good luck and keep us posted. ( not sure what your second medical condition is?)

Allie, see this link for a rundown.

Tebori, You may find a low carb it will help with your knee problems, strange to say. I've noticed on my Primal forums and in other LC forums many followers saying it has helped with arthritic pain, and it certainly helped my dreadful joint pain in ankles, knees and right hip - almost non-existent now.

Have you considered swimming - the fact sheet says it can help and it has certainly helped my knee pain.

Tebori, met you in Introductions and good to see you here!
I am Arlene and Dr Mary Vernon says it best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaquSijXJkQ for me. I used to stand under my plum tree waiting for the fruit to ripen and fall, now I stand near a coconut tree.

Today is definitely a milestone day. For the first time in 2 years, I'm under 200 pounds!! I immeditately started crying when I read the scale this morning. I can't imagine how anything could make me happier at 5:15 in the morning.

Thats awesome news Tabori. It feels wonderful doesn't it! And I can say that I have noticed a big difference in the intensity of my joint pain since I started eating this way. Good luck and stay with us!

Great news! I am hoping to get under the huge 100kg barrier myself about mid year. It is time to reward yourself with a (non-food) treat.

I completely agree Allie! Everyone here is great and the support sure helps every day. If I feel I am going to have something I don't NEED but perhaps WANT, I just come here and read a few posts and get back to the reason I joined in the first place. I NEED to lose these extra pounds of flesh!

    Have a super day!
