I was checking out Albertson's today and they have lots of low salt and low sugar items but very few low carb items. Where do you get the groceries you need for a low carb lifestyle?

I would look online for groceries that sell low carb in your area. My personal thoughs, and they are just my own, is that especially in induction you should just use fresh natural foods and stay away from anything that is not on the allowed list of foods for induction that's in the Atkins book or posted here at this site. And I'll say this again only because I got caught on it "read your labels really closely". ANY, dextrose, fructose, glucose, sorbitol, manitol or sugar ( they are all sugars) is bad at this point and it is in everything. I have only found 3 spices so far that don't contain any. I'm sure everyone here is probably sick of hearing me repeat this but when you start to see how widespread it is, it's frightening. I also know myself well enough to know that there is no such thing as moderation when it comes to things I love so for me to have just one taste would likely finish me because I would only want more and more. I am sure this will change as time passes.... kind of like when I quit smoking 30yrs ago LOL
