    Day 1

    again....I have done Atkins before and honestly it is the only way of eating I have ever found that puts me in control of my eating instead of food controlling me. I was doing good over the summer but then sort of just let everything go so here I am again. I have never posted on the forum though I have read but I thought maybe being more involved with help me out too!

    Hi Tiffinae and welcome! It's great that you decided to participate. I think it really helps to be involved and support each other if we can. It seems more of a commitment. Plus, you get loads of good advice! So good luck and stick to it! We really need to take care of OURSELVES. This definitely is a great way!

    Hi Tiffinae,

    I just started the Atkins diet myself...and for the same reason you did, it's realistic. I've done the milkshake and a snack diet and that's not realistic at all! I've been enjoying reading everyone's comments on here and tell me, can you think of another diet plan where there are people that have stuck to it for years? So I'm in it for the long haul and hope to see you in the forum more often.

    This is a wonderful, supportive site and it's like having an extended family. We are almost the same in both our current weight and in our goal weight so I'm looking forward to celebrating downward successes with you. For me thats one of the best parts about being here. We all get excited for each other when we are weighing in and you can really feel those cyber hugs Funny I was just telling Laura about how I think summers going to be a challenge for me

    I am so mad at myself that i keep repeating the same thing over and over again...I know that atkins is the only WOE my body likes bit i still stray...today again is my first day of atkins..i joined in this forum so that others can push me to be a better eater and so that i learn from others the art of eating well ....please wish me good luck atkineers

    Naureen, You will find friends, answers and advice here. I urge you to start your own Progress thread, and that way you can chart what you are doing and gain lots of people reading who will chime in with help. You can do it, you can.
