Okay, maybe now it is time to start weighing in once a week. The scale is a big problem if I use it day to day. As much as i try to not have my day ruled by what it said, It does. Now, i really force myself to wait and it does make a difference.

You are NOT eating enough veges. Do you have the book? You really need to follow the plan. You post your menu but are you counting your carbs somehow?
I am Arlene and Dr Mary Vernon says it best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaquSijXJkQ for me. I used to stand under my plum tree waiting for the fruit to ripen and fall, now I stand near a coconut tree.

    Yesterday's..

Breakfast: 3 egg omelette (with one and a half yolks), chicken sausage
    Snack: decaf latte with 2%
Lunch: Huge burger with mayo mustard lettuce and tomato
Dinner: smaller burger with mustard ketchup lettuce tomato and pickles.

Hi again, I'm back, and down 3.2 pounds since last check-in! I'm quite satisfied, emotionally, as well as physically with all this protein lol.

I'm nearing the end of my first two weeks and I have to decide soon if I want to remain on induction (I probably will) and for how much longer. I know people stay on it for months and it's fine, but I'm thinking if I do that I'm only going to eat lean meats instead of fatty ones, maybe do without the mayo on my burger, and do one yolk in the morning instead of two..little tweaks like that.

    I hope everyone is well.

I hope you do well with the tweaks but remember that constipation is relieved by fiber-veges and fat. You might need to add more in than you are right now.

Keep letting us know what is happening.

Ok, I am now, (a little past) the two week point and I am down a little over 9 pounds. I am quite excited. I've decided to stay on induction but to reduce the red meat, because I've noticed that too much of that usually stalls my weight loss..so mostly chicken, turkey, fish, and shellfish from now on. I really need to eat MORE VEGGIES. But I'm being a good girl with exercises and water.

Thank you so much Aradasky for your constant advice and posts...knowing someone is reading my posts has made a huge difference! Bless you!!

Wow, 9 pounds is so exciting! Don't get discouraged now, because now the weight loss will slow down. I liked stayin on induction and just a few weeks ago went to the first level with more veges. Even not using so much beef, there are so many things you can eat, you are doing well. If you get constpated add a bit more fat into your diet wehn cooking, butter, coconut oil or more olive oil and on veges and salads.

I know with Thanksgiving here this next week, I will eat a few things not on my list that day, like a slice of an LC pumpkin pie with pecan crust but hey, if we can't have treats once in a while.....

I am supported everyday when I read about your success, so it helps me to be able to answer you back. No Problem! LOL
