    Ive got my power back!

I have been on induction for 7 weeks now and in the first 2-3 weeks i was jogging and hiking, but my energy levels were very bad and my legs felt like they were being starved of energy, and i found the whole exercise thing uncomfortable to say the least.
i went out for a short run yesterday as i havent done anything for nearly 4 weeks and was very worried. my usual 5k route is off road through a forest and starts off uphill for a mile which i was dreading, i put my headphones on and just went for and before i new it i was at the top. i think i must have had a body transplant or something because my legs felt nothing, not that horrible burning/dragging sensation, i managed a whole mile uphill and it felt like i had not even run, very weird. i have always hated hills as it felt like i was dragging a plough! I managed to finish the route in a decent time and the only thing that was tired was my lungs, but considering that i have hardly run for weeks i think thats a great result.
i was really sceptical when i was told in the beginning that i will switch to fat burning mode in a few weeks and be able to run again, but it has happened, and i can tell you it feels amazing, also i am a 16 lbs lighter which is a double whammy!

Tracy! That is wonderful! I do some tough days, too. Hard cardio and weight lifting. I still have days that are difficult but most days are easy and instead of walking I seem to be gliding! Yes, it is wonderful and congratulations on getting there and the weight loss!

You gave your legs time to heal (build muscle) they were probably fatigued, good for you, did you complete the entire 5k? I can't wait to start running again, I really miss it! Congrats, keep moving.
