Wow! Great results! Yes, it is such a change in our thinking, and with all the recipes and support, it is a way of life that can stay on.

6 weeks in and i havent lost anything for 3 weeks, i can explain the 1st week stall due to my walking hol and nightly glass of wine, but surely that wouldnt halt it for a further two weeks. i have been sticking to the induction and have reduced the splenda from 5 tabs a day to 2. is a 3 week stall normal so early on?

Can you post exactly what you are eating and drinking, including any cooking oils or fats? Give us a few days worth and maybe we can see something that looks like it might be hanging on to the weight.

ok will give you the last 3 days, breakfast- coffee, cream 2 splenda, smoked fish and a fried egg (cooked in coconut oil)
lunch- chicken mayo,(about a cup) half a cup of iceberg lettuce and same of grated cheese, drink of water
dinner- belly pork strips with sugar free home made mayo, half a cup of celery, 2 cauliflower florets, water, herb tea
    snacks- ham and cheese rollups

breakfast- sauted spinach, and poached egg, coffee cream and splenda
lunch- cream of mushroom soup, herb tea
dinner-crustless quiche with 2, 98% pork sausages, mayo, water
snacks belly pork strip dipped in mayo

breakfast- baked portabello mushroom with cheese, coffee, cream, splenda.
lunch- egg mayo, small tomato, 1/4 cubed fried aubergine (in coconut oil) herb tea
dinner- duck leg, with 1/2 cup of steamed shredded cabbage with ( about 10) caraway seeds and butter.
snack- flaxseed pancake, (small, made with 1 egg and about a tblspn of flax)

water throughout the day. Gosh looking at that menu it seems like i am not getting much veggies. i am taking a multivit as well though. I have to say, i have a funny feeling its the drop in exercise, i went from cycling to work then i went on a hiking hol, to practically nothing, as the school holidays have just finished here and so i was off work, hence no cycling and no hiking, the past 3 weeks i have not done much exercise at all. Just walking the dog. Do you have any suggestions? am i eating too much mayo perhaps? i usually have a couple of teaspoons when i do have it. i always make my own sugar free mayo. I am trying to stay positive as i know it will all work out come time

Hi, i started off 6 weeks ago at 13 stone 1lb (183lb) i lost 1 stone (14lb) in the first 3 weeks, i am now 12 stone 1lb (169lb) i have been this weight for 3 weeks now, no loss at all, my goal is around 9 stone 12 ( 138lb) to 10 stone 4 ( 144lb) which still leaves an average of 2 stone 1lb (29lb) still to lose.

ooh, isnt it funny when you read over what you have eaten and things jump out at you, all i can see is mayo, mayo, mayo! at 2 teaspoons a serving maybe i am overdoing it.
but i find it really keeps any hunger at bay for a long time, in fact i cant remember the last time i felt hungry.

i am making an effort to incorparate some exercise in my day, so i went for a speedy walk with the dog this morning, and i enjoyed it on this lovely Scottish crisp autumn morning. the only (happy) inconvenience was that i chucked on my jeans that i wore 6 weeks ago and so i had to hold them up when i started walking yippee! thats when i realise that i have lost a bit of weight, if i can just get over this pesky stall i would be over the moon

Lol' I know the feeling of having to find a belt for the now loose jeans. Love it! I found that my appetite dropped about now, and maybe you should trust it without so much mayo. Also, I do have to count calories as well as carbs. It does make a difference for me if I want to loose. Are you using a tracker for counting carbs? You should be able to get calories there, too. I have to keep mine in between 1200 / 1500 to loose weight.

I for one cannot eat mayo cause it stalls me and even gains. So some foods work differently to different people. Try cutting it out and see what happens. Good luck.

cant believe it, for the first time in 6 weeks, ( the start of induction) i am really hungry, i have been peckish all day and i have been picking at pork rinds, ham, a slice of cheese, i just dont feel satisfied today, i bet its because i have not had any mayo. i was eating about 2 teaspoons each time with 2 out of three of my meals. not sure if i should have the mayo as its probably got fewer cals in it than the pork rinds, which are 500cals a bag and i have nearly finished them!
i had sausage and egg for breakfast and pork and beansprouts for lunch and although i have eaten all of those snacks listed above i am really thinking about my dinner. it almost feels odd to be hungry, i know my 2 meals are more than enough so why am i being a piggie!

oh, and also, i went out today and bought ketostix, they showed a trace of ketones, the lightest pink shade.
i remember years ago when i tried the diet i bought the sticks and they were usually dark purple. does the shade matter? as long as there is something eh?
