    Why is it?

i am a second time round on atkins and i hope i can get it right this time i think i alway ate to many carbs last time even when i thought i was not

But i have been reading a few letters here asking for advice ,and advice given is all way truthful and good
but the questions ask are not so good ,like when i come off the diet will i be able to eat like i did before (why would you want to)
You came on the diet to lose weight why would you want to go back to your old ways ,what made you fat in first place ,the old ways
in my case it was my wife wanted me to lose weight but could not get her head round the diet and still made things that i could not really eat ,sauces made with flour veges that were not aloud on diet vegies are good for you every one knows that? if it comes out of ground i must be good ,
the diet has taken years to developed and its proven to work on some people not all ,and now i see its moved on to a new atkins diet now i have to get my head round this new idea ,some say use it some say no only the 2002 book which is the one i use.
all i know is i will need help and i hope its given ,and if i fall off the wagon i will just have to climb back on and start again ,but i hope that does not happen this time
That's my Bitch for the morning

Yes you are right, that seems to be what happens to a lot of people they lose weight then go back to doing what made them fat in the first place. You have to learn that eating is a way of life, not a short term fix. Good luck with your Atkins, keep posting here

    Been there, done that!

    1998 - 110kg
    2001 - 62 kg
    2009 - 108.4 kg
    Now - 84.9 kg
2012 - 62 kg - by whatever means it takes! Amputation is not entirely out of the question (joke!)

I have found it's quite effective to change diets occasionally; ALL diets work if you follow them. I lost 19kg on Dukan, but then had to switch to Atkins to start the loss again. I've now lost more than 23kg.

Maybe diets are like shampoos - you need to change now and then to get the best effect?
    High weight: 108.4 kg
    Current weight: 85.3 kg
    Goal weight: 62 kg
