First time Atkins husband and wife

Hi, my wife and I just started the Atkins diet about 10 days ago. We have been trying to follow the induction phase plan as closely as possible. We've done really well on it- my wife has dropped 13 lbs and I've dropped 8 (In my defense, she started a day earlier lol). We plan on continuing the induction phase until we reach our individual goal weights.

Quick question, though: I started out great, losing a lb a day but in the last 3 days I've been staying at the same weight. No biggie, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Lucky you, got local support AND competition in the same place.
Yes, everyone has spurts and stops, you will never lose weight linearly a human body doesn't work like that. Sometimes it's due to your body pausing to make adaptations and sometimes you will notice you are still losing an inch or two even when you don't lose weight. And any diet works very quickly at first as you lose retained water. Make sure to drink plenty of water it's an essential part of the diet.
