If you're in the UK, please consider registering for a Park Run. There are loads of people who turn up, from Primary School kids to Pensioners and everyone in between. Each Saturday, there are dozens of events across Britain, so you might well be closer to one than you thought. Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a time, so you can chart your progress week by week as you improve.

I'm NOT suggesting that running is the best way of losing or maintaining your weight. (See my rant on this subject here) But what I AM happy to say is that losing weight is a great way to help you work on your fitness. and get back to enjoying your own body again.
