    best food for sports performance

i play competitive football (soccer) once a week with work colleagues and it is pretty high intensity stuff. i've noticed that since starting atkins i have not been very good at building energy reserves throughout the day and my performance is suffering as a result. i get tired quicker. does anyone know what kind of atkins (induction phase) foods i should be eating in order to guarantee plenty of energy reserves without breaking the diet?

Grumpy... how much weight are you trying to lose? You might consider moving into P2 right away. You'll still lose weight, but you could have more carbs... which it sounds like you probably need for your required energy. Maybe a little more about you would help us make more helpful suggestions!

The diet of the sports man must be balance and full of nutrition.
which help him to in game and also provide him energy.
