    vibrating platform machine

    At the gym i go to there is a machine called the vibration plate. I use it every time i am in the gym and incorporate it into my routine. i think it is pretty awesome. in 15 mins working out on it, is is the equivalent to one hours work out.
    it gets your heart rate up and it improves stability.
    has anyone else used this machine?

    Yes I have. It is great for core stability work but I'm not sure how effective it is for cardio/general fitness? Fun though!!

    Its really effective for cardio, it defiantly gets your heart pumping. i use it as a step , step up raise my knee up to my chest and step down, then do the same with the other leg, can defiantly get your speed up. i had a personal trainer for a while so he taught me a few moves on it i also do my squats and i use my weights on it too

    Wow! I think I'd fall over if I tried to use it for stepping!
