    Food for camping

    Hi all!

My husband and I are headed for the Ozarks in April for a week of well deserved rest and relaxation, but we want to try and stick as closely to the diet as possible while we're camping. We have a small two burner propane stove to do most of the cooking, and a good insulating cooler along with access to plenty of fresh ice so keeping food cool is not a problem.

We'll only really be cooking breakfasts and dinners at the camp site as we'll be out and about doing touristy things most afternoons. We'll try and stick to salads and such for those meals.

So anyway, suggestions for meals? Anyone else out there braved an outdoor adventure while sticking to a low carb eating plan?

I've nver been camping (bought a tend 2 years ago but never used) but I'd take burguers with me, grill and use lettuce to wrap the burguer. Chicken pieces fried and all you do is warm up. Bacon are easy to cook on camping places and egg.
