is it possible to get actually thin on atkins?

or is it just for people with too much fat on the body in proportion to their BMI?
I noticed your weight tril in another thread, on 129lbs, which is my goal. I know that with my 170cm it is not very much. Now my weight is 152lbs and i got 22lbs left. Ish.
Have you only been on atkins to get this far down in weight or did you have to use other 'methods' to throw the final 10lbs?

Or maybe anyone else did something?

I'm not sure I understand your question completely... but here goes.

You can get down to ANY weight you want. Even an unhealthy, too thin weight... on any "diet". You do that by not eating enough for long enough. Let me rephrase that... if you ABUSE any diet, you can get down to any weight you choose. If you follow Atkins properly, I don't believe you'd go so low as to be unhealthy.

At 170cm 129 should be reasonable. If I figured it correctly (metric isn't my way of thinking) that puts you about 5'6" to 5'7". I would usually suggest 130 - 135 for someone your height based on an old guideline of 100# for the first 5 feet and 5# per inch after that. Of course, if you're younger or have small bones/slight frame then the lower end isn't unreasonable. I'm 5'4" and 129 is at the top of my comfortable range. I much prefer 118-120. And yes, I can get there on Atkins... and South Beach... and Weight Watchers... and and and... LOL I know, because I've done it. Many times.

Aaia, just take it one day at a time. Having weight goal is great, but don't let it be your only focus. Enjoy the journey. You may find that you're perfectly happy with weighing 135 when you get there. You may discover that 135 is EASY to maintain. And isn't being 135 much better than struggling and fighting to hit 129 and stay there? So... take a wait and see attitude. See how you feel as you get closer to those lower weights. Stay flexible.

Now, if I could only take my own advice... I'm working on it, I promise!!!

Thanx for your answer tril! Sorry you didn't understand my question, but your answer cleared most things out. I simply just want to know if there are any restrictions with Atkins regarding weight loss.
Or is any weightloss possible, even those where you end up as underweight(?)
(this is NOT what I want, I just thought about it)

Ps. I moved to OWL after three weeks because i was really craving sweet things as almonds. Now i eat some everyday but it really slowed my weight loss down. but you're right.

One day at the time is the best way

FWIW, your wt loss is supposed to slow down in OWL. The added variety is good for your diet AND for yourself (less boredom and feelings of deprivation). The thing is, if you do this right you'll basically transition from OWL to Pre-Maintenance and then, without changing a thing you'll be in Maintenance. The last pounds come off very slowly... that's good because you'll never have that "what now" feeling to deal with. You'll know "what now" because it will be exactly what you've been doing for weeks. LOL
