    Bagadonitz 2.0 alpha

While these pictures are disgusting, and I apologize, they really help me stay motivated. I like watching the incredible shrinking Bagadonitz.

Very brave of you... I doubt any woman on here would post a picture of herself undressed (in a before OR an after)! I can't wait for your updated SHRINKING pictures. There are blogs online that do this... they take a picture every day and then play them in fast forward (like a vid-eo) so you can "see" the changes happening right before you.

Are those new glasses??? I like them!

Also... I see a wedding band. Do you have support at home?

The glasses are about a year old. Oakley frames and lenses and in 21 years, the best glasses I have ever owned.

Married, two kids, girl almost 8 and boy 5 who are both hams:

My wife also lost a lot of weight on Atkins previously with me and did a better job of keeping it off. I work from home and do the grocery shopping and most of the cooking so she'll eat what I eat. She has some weight to lose and will lost it quick. She is also 33 and in her second year of nursing school and trying to keep our family going so with all that stress that brings, she is doing a good job of being reasonable with what she eats.

Brave is one way to put it but more of a motivator. My goal is to be more comfortable with myself, again, and I seem to be able to lose sight of that easily when tempted. Hopefully by keeping a tight food diary and something of a photo journal on here, I can keep with the program. And besides, without these pics you wouldn't get to see what we in Newfoundland call a "Newfie Tan".

Well... I don't usually notice glasses, but I really like yours on you. Newfoundland, huh? I would love to visit there some day. I hear the fishing is amazing... I keep telling dh we should go there. He can fish and I'll just "hang out". If I said I wanted to fish, too, he'd be thinking $$$$. I'm happy just to go and watch if it means I get to go somewhere.

    Your kids are adorable!

Thanks toni but you best read the dates. That is backwards progress.

In 2004 I lost all the weight on Atkins and the "skinny" picture above is from then. The other two are now.

I hope to make the same progress again however, and maintain it this time, and possibly inspire you again!

Well just about one month gone. Not much visible progress but the scale doesn't lie. See the updated pics in the first post, and again my apologies for half naked fat man pictures.

I just got a new snowmobile suit that I paid a fortune for. I bought it to accommodate the cloths and protective gear I'll wear under it when I'm the size I want to be. It just came in the mail and I can already get in it with warm cloths on and for now my protective vest will fit over it just right. Another month, when the snow flies, I should be better again.

I agree... the profile pictures really show it! Not only is your stomach smaller, look at your back. Look at the change behind your left elbow! Your whole back is smoother.

Thanks. This is the reason I post these as you really can't notice yourself. I can notice it with my cloths.

I told none of my friends that I was trying to lose weight. I went to a movie with one of them last night and I could tell that he noticed and finally he asked if I had lost weight.

We then went for coffee with another mutual friend and the same thing happened. I felt great because even though I'm still way heavier than I want to be, at least my progress is recognized.

Yes, I wore a shirt to the movie

Bump. Another month gone by, a few new pictures taken in the same place for comparison.

    My belt is getting longer!
