    Tril's story in pictures

Ok... here goes. I'll start with my earliest pictures (I need to scan some older ones some day) and work up to now.

1989, wt around 185-190 I'd guess.... I'd given up on the scale!

November of '01 with my first deer... actually lost wt on Weight Watcher that time. Wt 120-something.

    April of 2002... wt 150+.

July of 2004... on a cruise... wt 160+.

Started South Beach in Nov '04... here I am in July of '05. Wt unknown but coming down again.

Fast foward to goal weight... 118-120.
    2006 with "Diesel".

I'm on the right in a blue t-shirt... this is in Cabo!

2006 on a cruise... this is me at 118#.

I'll post another "after/now" when I hit my goal again. One thing that really hits me when I put these pictures all together... I look much younger at goal, even though I'm much older. There's enough motivation in that to keep me on the straight and narrow for life!!! LOL

    Hi Tril,

You have a beautiful smile in your avator, but My God, you look absolutely stunning in that Gold dress.

I can see why you want to get back into it, with your motivation and determination I am sure you will succeed.

Thank you, Caroline! You made my day. LOL The dress is actually a gown... two pieces. The under one is a plain spaghetti strap slip dress, the top one is lacy with beading and ribboning. Can you believe I paid $7 for it?!? True, at a discount store. I want to wear it again on my cruise in December. I really have to be at 118 for it to look good... it shows EVERY little bulge. I feel super skinny in it, though.

OMG it's gorgeous on you though!

A discount store? Wonderiforous! I buy most of my best clothes at the Thrift Store! (okay I'm a poor college student, a wife and mother so who expects me to have lots of cash? lol So I buy from the Thrift Store a lot anyway but I can always find the NEATEST STYLES THERE! I couldn't go to local department stores and find the cooooool stuff I find at the Thrift Store!)

And I have a piece or two of goal clothing also. One is a pair of pants I used to LOVE to wear but I am too big for now. I bought me a brand new pair of the style right before they stopped making them and they've never been worn. I tried them on once and I popped the button off! *noo!* So I promised myself when I could pull them on and they fit comfortably, I'd sew the button back on and start wearing them . They are size 34 and I currently wear 40 comfortably so it's a long road lol. Around 200 I can wear them, so they are like a mini goal in and of themselves.

I think having something you want to get to wear again makes for a great goal. My big goal clothing? Sharing clothing with my husband again like when we were dating! lol ^=^

Hurray for Tril! Tril has been one of my big inspirations and weight loss heroes today! ^-^

OMG I just had the greatest thought.

    Trill is a THINspiration! ^-^ ^______^ (* Don't mind me! I am a spaz today!*)

you havnt lost just your weight , but you have lost years. You look much younger , and you are inspiration to all of us. I hope I will be able to reach my goal in four months.

I am 29 and in my big clothes I look like I am 40. I hope I will be able to by clothes more suitable for me. When you are thin you can wear everything.

    Good luck

    that is great!!!!!!!

I am geliouse at you ( I hope I wrote this word correctly) . When you are owerweight , you don have willpower to do anything. Just to close inside yourself . As I am loosing my weight I feel more powerfull , full of strenght , and that feeling is giving you life energy. I

    You look really amazing

    thanks for support

    Tril, you look terrific.

I am curious, did you have any cosmetic surgery to look this hot? You look so completely different (and fantastic!) in the after picture that my eyes can't believe it was just diet and exercise!

LOL... no, no surgery! If I was going to do that (spend the $ and go under the knife) it wouldn't be my face I'd have work done on. IYKWIM. No... my face just looks better thinner. When I gain wt in my face it goes on my cheeks so when I smile, my eyes disappear... gives me that Santa Claus look. I hate it. And, I have bird bones... a very small bone structure. Excess wt just doesn't look good and I can't hide it well. I wear a size 4.75 ring and I can't wear bracelets unless they're those elastic kind because chain and bangle ones fall off. I wear chain bracelets as anklets. This is all great when I weigh 118... not so great when I gain it.

I can't wait to get back down there... I mean, I can wait, but I'm so ready to do it. I'm NOT going to let it get away from me again. I'm NOT.
