Wow... what a crazy busy month!!! I've finally reached a point where I can come back and concentrate on ME again!

I just returned from my son's graduation from Army Bootcamp. I've NEVER been so proud of him as I was/am now. Such maturity, self confidence and overall growth in ten weeks. I think high schools should be run like bootcamp. LOL Anyway... my personal life is mine again. So expect to "see" me around here a lot more often!

Back to the grindstone weight loss wise as well. I ALMOST met my goal of losing 20# by graduation. I lost 19.6. Still some to go, but it's nice to be back into the "normal" range (for BMI) again. My doctor will be happy. Heck, I'M happy!

I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Ya.... 137 pages. Think I talk much??? LOL

Wed is my weigh in day. Down a little more. I also adjusted my goal wt this morning. I'm enjoying getting back into some of my favorite clothes again. This is the first day of Spring and I have to say, it's the first one in a couple of years that I'm looking forward to this season. The last few I've dreaded. I will be ready for summer clothes THIS year!

With Bluehex gone I will be your fulltime admin now. Don't hesitate, any of you, to contact me with any questions or concerns. I will be making a greater effort to be here every day... if I'm not, it's only because I'm somewhere without internet service. That happens several times a month for me... but I'll get back to you ASAP, I promise.

    Tril

    Hi Tril

It's good to know that you'll be around lots but I think everone here understands that admins have lives too and that the "real" world has to comes before "cyberland". The amount of time and effort you put in on this site helping all of us is incredible and so much appreciated.

Great that you know you are going in the right direction and I'm looking forward to your Weds post. It's been awhile and your new goal is small so I bet you are half way there by then! I seem to be in a bit of a stall at the moment which I think may be due to still not drinking enough water. I'm back to work today though and I always gave a glass on the go there.

    Cheers!

I agree with Allie, Tril, as long as we know you will be peaking in and passing along your good advice, we will be willing to wait. Yikes, I haven't even looked at my summer clothes. I am going to have to make a trip to the thrift store to drop off and pick some new.

Your avatar has changed as well, is that a hybiscus?

    Thanks for being here.

    Thanks, Arlene.

It's actually a wild trillium. I picked this one and floated it in the lake near our camp... took a picture and loved it. So I used it as my avatar. That's where my name came from... Tril. I love them!!

It is a beautiful wild flower and an excellent picture. I have never seen pick ones though, only white. We get quite a bit of it. Something tells me you must be a camera buff too.

Okay and I'm an idiot.....didn't even clue in on my earlier post that today IS weds Tril and congrats on being down!! Just having a moment I guess LOL

We have the small white ones, too... actually, the are more of a very pale pink. But these large dark maroon ones are my favorite! I don't usually pick them, but I wanted to get a good picture and needed to get it out into the sunlight. They grow in the shade. Their nickname is "Stinking Benjamin"... for good reason. LOL And, I used to have a nice SLR camera back in the day. When I went digital I got the smallest one I could find. So I use an old pocket sized point and shoot Nikon Coolpix! Nothing special.

Had another peek at the scale this morning. A new low! You know how sometimes you FEEL the loss more? That's what I've been feeling the last week. Most of the time the scale doesn't reflect the feeling at the same time... but it is. NOT complaining!! Total loss hit 21# today. Maybe that's why I can feel it... I've passed the 20# mark. KOKO~

Good morning Tril, I can honestly say I've never seen that flower, why is it that the most beautiful things in life are the most dangerous or stinky?

Congrats on passing the 20# mark!!!! that just has to feel great!!!!! Are you close to goal?

    Have a wonderful day!
