Hi, Smerbear!
So sorry your little guy had all those issues! Those ear problems are SO tough on them!
Hey, you are back with the plan, the forum, and it is only just a little time lost. Life is long (tell me about it!) If it takes a little longer, so be it! The goal is still the same...just takes putting your foot forward, time and again, for a little longer. Good luck...I KNOW you will succeed!
So glad to have you back posting again! You HAVE been missed!

According to my scale at home I started doing Atkins at 238
Today: 214
1st goal: Hitting Onederland (199)
2nd goal: 150 and get invisalign (braces)
Final goal: 130 (at that time I will evaluate and see if I need to lose more)
So total lost as of 8/11/09 - 24 lbs
Total lost since 7/12/09 (the day I had my son) - 48 lbs
***I am so happy I am even lower than I was when I last posted. Going strong!!!! |

***I've been sick with a cold since 3/11 and have still stayed on track. It hasn't been easy but I have done it. I am only 12 lbs away from my first goal, I am so close. |

Well I have gained 3 lbs in the last 4 days...UGH!!!! I don't know why, as I haven't been off track...however...there are 3 or 4 things I can think of that may have caused this...
***had a couple of the Advantage Atkins Bars and even though they are safe for stage 1 I do think they affect me badly!
***went out to eat a couple of times this week and who knows how much sodium and or hidden sugars were in the food (I had buffalo wings and salads with blue cheese dressing when I went out)
***have worked out very little in the past 2 weeks because I was sick and then I had a lot going on at work and didn't have the extra time or energy to get to the gym.
I really wanted to get off track today but I think instead I am going to go to the gym...have fish for dinner, homemade onion soup for lunch and eggs and bacon for breakfast and hope for the best. |

I think the inability to exercise had a lot to do with it. The "whoosh-fairy" will visit ... that is my hope for you!
Hang in there...good to hear from you!
