Thanks for the words of encoragement, as always, Tracy!
I can say with 100 % certainty that I am incredibly proud of my progress thus far. It's an unofficial weigh in since it's a Thursday, but the scale has now dropped to 221lbs. for a total of 79 lost thus far. I'm also now over halfway to my goal weight, and have lost 26.3 % of my starting body weight. OMG!!!!
Clothes are fitting looser and looser. I really need to just give in and go out and buy new stuff, but I keep holding out. I can try on clothes at a much larger selection of stores than I used to be able to shop at, and I've been spending time on my lunch breaks at work doing just that. I can't believe I actually enjoy doing it!
Up until this attempt to get the weight down, my previous low was 217 lbs. I never made it further than that. I'm going to do everything in my power to get there in the next week. Keep your fingers crossed for
me! |

I've been holding steady here lately. Not exactly a stall, more like a pause. We've said "Darn the heat!" and are starting to get out and run again in the early mornings a couple times a week. I'm able to go farther than ever before in the same amount of time which is amazing and makes me super excited. I've had a few moments of weakness (who hasn't at some point in time) but on the whole I've been trying really hard to kick start myself again and blow through another 20 or 30 lbs in the next few months. I feel great and look so much better but this is not where I want to end up.
Hubby is being sooooooo much of an inspiration right now. He's doing weight training and starting to put on muscle and firm up some more. I've walked into the kitchen and seen him standing there and had to do a double take to confirm that he is, indeed, mine! LOL. Once I get back from my big meeting this october I'm going to make him start training me too.
Please send all words of encouragement that you can. 80 pounds lost is so amazing, but I need to take this forward to the next level...
You all rock! |

I'm doing well Kage! Thanks for asking, and I hope you're feeling better! One of my employees at work had foot surgery back at the beginning of June and has been limping around on crutches ever since, but her upper body muscle tone is getting fabulous!
I had a week or two after hub hit his goal when we slid a little bit. I was a little despondent because he had mad it and I still have so far to go. We had it out one day and he's hopped back in to being super supportive and encouraging me more. It's cooled off enough (not much though) to be able to get out and start running early mornings again, and we've been super sticking to our carb counts and all the water weight fell off in a snap. Now I'm losing again and he's set a new goal too, and I'm feeling soooooooo much better. Just had a fabulous lunch and am drinking a ton of water this afternoon. Very satisfied. |
