Hi everyone. I am new on the forum but not new to Atkins.
I plan on making this a life style from now on.
I have been reading some great post on here and words of encouragement.
I am glad that I decided to join the forum.

lillyflower - i'm adding my welcome!!!
you'll find stacks of good advice here - and have a look at the recipes too! - some of those babies (like StevieL's flax bread for instance) have gotten me through many a moment i can tell you!
for instance, my husband and daughter last night were having garlic bread, and i had the flax bread, sliced, toasted with peanut butter (natural, only in OWL), and crushed raspberry "jam"! i thought about making some garlic butter of my own, but didn't bother (next time i might though!)
anyway, i'm blathering on - welcome, and stck around with any question, comment, progress, etc!!

Thank you TracyRed. I have been reading your wealth of knowledge as well as some other ladies on here.
I am almost done with the induction phase, and I purchased the new book on Atkins so I am ready to go. Cravings are under control and I do love meat so that's no problem.
I do eat my veggies and I drink plenty of water.
I am feeling more rested and healthy. I notice this morning that my breathing isn't shallow anymore and that's a good thing. |
