You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

ha ha - do you have a donkey?????

neighbours - that would be great (you cook goood stuff! - and we could play in the snow together!)

No donkey but I've got a fat ass... does that count? Nah, you'd never covet THAT. LOL

Going to look at one more house tomorrow afternoon. I'm getting sick of this. I just want it over!!!!! But I DO like looking at houses. Shhhh! Our agent asked me if I was going into real estate after we finally get into a house... heck, if he offered me a job, I'd take it! Smile

Getting ready to go to CA this weekend. I do NOT want to go. I feel absolutely huge. I'm not very happy about this right now. Sigh...

LOL, yes... someone IS home. Me. I'm just a lurker these days. Life has gotten rather busy... and I'm experimenting with my food so I haven't been as "into" this forum as before. But I'm still reading because you guys are my BUDS. Smile

The trip to CA was okay. We did it. We got home. Yeah. Of course, I gained even more weight. Sigh.... but since getting home I've lost it and some more. I'm determined. I leave again for a 2 week cruise a week from tomorrow. I won't be able to lose enough to fit into my favorite cruising clothes... but at least my regular fat clothes stuff will fit better. I can breathe in my jeans at least.

On the house front... we're under contract!!!! We're buying a log home. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1900 sf. Sits nicely on a hill... with access to a stream (the neighborhood is on the stream, our house is in the neighborhood) that has great bass and brown trout fishing. The dogs will love being able to swim every day (til it freezes). Once it's ours, I'll post a picture.

So... if all goes well, when I get back I'll have about 10 days before we close. Smile

I would love a nice log home. My wifes is not as into them as I though. I have been mostly a lurker as well but noticed you had not checked-in in a while so I thought I would ring the bell.

Hope the log home works out for you, although we have never met in person everything I know about you up until now says your a Log Home type of girl. Have fun on that cruise.

A log home type of girl? I guess I am! DH has always loved them... me, not my first pick but if it's the right one I'm good with it. This is the right one. We both like this house. It will be different, that's for sure. We'll see how I like cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan. I'm just SO OVER ready to have my own space again. Living in a house that's on the market is like living in someone else's house... living in my FIL's 200 yo farmhouse is like living in Siberia. I want my own space and my own stuff before I GO NUTS. Actually... what I really want... is a bureau again. I miss having my clothes in a drawer. Boxes scattered between the barn, the garage, the storage units and the attic have gotten REALLY old. And it will be nice to get out of my dh's childhood bedroom (6' X 10'... holds one full size bed and nothing else) that's right off the livingroom. It's also the room my MIL died in. Yeah... I want out. Shocked

One more month... one more month... one more month...

200 Year old Farmhouse living in the room that someone died in...ACKK!!! No way, sounds to much like the scene setup for a horror flick.
