Hi.. I have been on Atkins for over a year now.. mostly to maintain.. but gained a bit over the holidays and have taken it back off..
I love my low carb way of life.. I have many recipes I use but do not know how to find the way to figure the total carbs.. I have done Atkins off and on for many years..
Good to be on a group that thinks like I do.. |

Have you tried entering the individual ingredients into FITDAY.COM?
It takes some patience...but worked pretty well for me...Not that I do a lot of cooking these days...I "retired" back in September....long story...lol
Congratulations on being able to lose the holiday gain...and welcome aboard...

Welcome, SJW!
You can figure carb for any recipe by going to any good online website that give carb counts (the USDA site is one of the best). Total up the ingredients in your recipe and then divide the total by the number of servings. That's your total grams per serving. Don't forget to deduct any fiber grams to get the net grams! |

Welcome, and good luck to you!!
Here is another site with lots of menu plans, recipes including pictures, reviews of the recipes and a lot of other good information for free!

Linda has a great deal of respect among the Atkins fans, as she has put a lot of work into her site. I know you will enjoy it.
